Questions
Good to know.
Who can participate?
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Strollers and family groups are welcome — this is a community event first.
Is the 5K timed?
Yes — there's a timed 5K for runners, plus a casual family walk for anyone who'd rather take it slow.
What if my city isn't on the map yet?
We add new cities every year. Join the list and we'll let you know when a run comes near you — registration opens soon.
Can more than one person run for the same relative?
Yes. Every name can be carried by many runners — you'll see how many people are running for each relative.
How do I nominate a relative to honor?
Reach out to us with the relative's name and story. Profiles are added with care and, wherever possible, with family input.
Where does my registration go?
100% of every registration supports Missing & Murdered Indigenous People advocacy and Hózhó Path Renewal programs.
Can I participate virtually?
Yes — a virtual option lets you run your 5K anywhere and still carry a name. Details open soon.
